What we do

We are a pure R&D company.

NxtFrontier Technologies does not start with product ideas. We start with problems — hard, structural, unresolved problems — and work backwards to the solution. We research, we publish, and then — only then — we build.

Research

Research

We begin every venture with a fundamental question — not a product idea. We spend months in the field, in the literature, and in conversation with the people who live the problem, before we write a single line of code.

Publish

Publish

Before we build, we write. Every research cycle produces published findings — market reports, technical white papers, validation studies. Open knowledge benefits the ecosystem. It also holds us accountable to what the evidence actually says.

Commercialise

Commercialise

The research earns the right to build. We commercialise only what the evidence demands — products that solve a validated, quantified, structurally unaddressed problem. No speculation. No pivot bets. Only evidence-backed ventures.

The result is a company that only builds things the evidence demands — and can defend every design decision with published data.

Research

What we are researching
right now.

Every research programme produces published outputs — market reports, white papers, technical frameworks, and field studies — before a single product line is built. Open findings hold us to the evidence.

B2B Trust Infrastructure

How do 71.6 million Indian MSMEs establish credibility in a market with no formal reputation system? We are mapping the structural gaps, documenting the cost of missing trust infrastructure, and designing the mechanisms to close them.

Alternative Credit Signals

Traditional credit scores capture financial repayment — not operational reliability. We are researching what verified B2B transaction behaviour can add to NBFC underwriting models, and what that means for the ₹117 trillion MSME credit gap.

Privacy-Preserving Verification

MSMEs will not share business data unless sharing it is structurally safe. We are researching zero-knowledge proof architectures that allow score verification without exposing underlying transaction data — buyer identities, product specs, or supply relationships.

MSME Digital Adoption

Why do Indian MSMEs resist digital platforms? The answer is not ignorance — it is rational distrust built from documented institutional betrayals. We are building the evidence base for what trust architecture actually changes adoption behaviour.

First commercialised product

Orbitt

Active · Bangalore

India's first B2B trust infrastructure platform for MSMEs.

Orbitt is the first product to emerge from NxtFrontier's research into B2B trust infrastructure. It is the answer to a single question we spent months validating: why do India's 71.6 million MSMEs lose crores every year to payment disputes they cannot prove?

01

Digital work orders

Structured purchase orders with defined milestones, quality acceptance criteria, and delivery timelines — sent and signed on the platform. No more verbal agreements or WhatsApp POs.

02

Milestone tracking

Every delivery checkpoint is recorded with a cryptographic timestamp. Section 43B(h) compliance — India's 45-day payment law — is built into every transaction automatically.

03

Dispute resolution

When disputes arise, both parties respond on a structured, timestamped record. The paper trail that prevents payment withholding exists before the dispute — not after.

04

TrustFlow Score

Every verified transaction builds a behavioural reputation score. Delivery timeliness, quality acceptance, dispute history — compiled into a score that makes reputation visible, portable, and bankable.

The TrustFlow Score

Reputation that compounds with every transaction.

Traditional credit scores measure financial repayment. They say nothing about whether an MSME delivers on time, accepts quality disputes fairly, or resolves payment issues without legal escalation. TrustFlow measures exactly that — and makes it visible to banks, OEMs, and buyers.

The problem we are solving

Three failures.
One structural
trust deficit.

India's 71.6 million MSMEs do not have a trust problem. They have a trust infrastructure problem. These three failures are not independent — they compound each other daily, in every transaction, in every industrial cluster in the country.

01

Contract informality

What happens

Purchase orders sent over WhatsApp. Specifications agreed verbally. Quality acceptance criteria undefined.

Consequence

No legal baseline exists when a dispute arises. The party with more leverage — almost always the buyer — always wins.

02

Payment delay and withholding

What happens

Section 43B(h) mandates payment within 45 days. Actual manufacturing supply chain payment cycles run 60–120 days.

Consequence

Thin-margin MSMEs (5–15% net) exhaust working capital, stall production, and default on payroll while waiting for legally owed money.

03

Absent trust infrastructure

What happens

No behavioural performance score exists for MSME vendors. Only CIBIL financial scores and GST compliance data — neither captures operational reliability.

Consequence

OEMs cannot identify reliable vendors objectively. MSMEs cannot monetise their track record. Trust is built through expensive, slow, personal referrals that cannot scale.

Source: Orbitt Competitor Analysis, April 2026 — 20 platforms analysed

Zero out of 20 competitors combine digital contracts, dispute resolution, and a behavioural trust score.

The gap is total and uncontested. This is the finding our research produced. Orbitt is the product that closes it.

NxtFrontier Technologies · Founding Principle

The Company

NxtFrontier Technologies.

We are a technology R&D company based in Bangalore, India. We identify structurally unaddressed problems in India's real economy, research them rigorously, publish our findings openly, and commercialise the outcomes as production-grade platforms.

01

A pure R&D company — not a startup studio

NxtFrontier Technologies does not launch ventures on intuition. Every product we build begins with a research programme. We publish before we build. The product is the commercialisation of the research — not the other way around.

02

Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka

We operate in Bangalore because our first research domain — MSME trust infrastructure — is most acute and most concentrated here. Peenya Industrial Cluster, one of Asia's largest, is our primary field research site.

03

DPDPA 2023 compliant by architecture

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act is the regulatory floor. We exceed it structurally — data protection built into the system architecture, not just the privacy policy. Privacy by design is the only kind of privacy that holds.
